Exporting Search to a Text File or Excel Sheet Wed Feb 01, 2006 7:36 am
webguy44
Hi:

I just got the program last night. I think it is great. The only problem is - I need to export my search list so I can show my client that I am going to be targeting certain sites, etc. Is there any way I can:

Exporting Search to a Text File or Excel Sheet

I am using the Mac OSX version and it seems my export function is greyed out - not working.

Thanks and please let me know as soon as possible.

Matt

LinkAssistant 2.2 Beta Wed Feb 01, 2006 1:48 pm
LinkAssistant
Matt, welcome to our forums!

Well... You're right, LinkAssistant 2.1 can't export data to various formats. But!... Fortunately there is a solution Very Happy

We released LinkAssistant 2.2 beta some days ago. This is the very first beta version of our future 2.2 release, and a lot of functionality is not avaialble yet, but this beta has just what you need: LinkAssistant 2.2 beta can offer some basic ways of exporting all your relevant project data.

You can determine which information should be exported, in which order and in what format. There's a number of possible export formats such as text file (.txt), HTML web page (.html), XML-based file (.xml) and even SQL script for importing the exported data into a database. And of corse, you can fine-tune the output to match your personal needs Wink

Please download the 2.2b Mac version from here:

As for the Windows version, it can be found here:

The export facility has been available in LinkAssistant for a long time now. Just download the latest version and use File > Export to access it.
