I thot this should be obvious, but I don't see it...
I want to find potential partners who have sites related to my topic, who also have signed up for link assistant or one of the partner link centers. How do I do that?
I know I can go to competitors sites or look at the top placements on a search, but I want the ones which are linking through link assistant. _________________ Stars 'n Toads Office Comic Strip

Hi Toady,
Generally, you can't find LinkAssistant-generated links pages simply because LinkAssistant is powerful enough to make these pages look like they were created by a human. This is important for search engines too.
Don't search for LinkAssistant-related sites, search for your topical sites. This makes sense for link building, not the other way around. You don't need just links, you need theme-related ones. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

That is the question. How do I use LinkAssistant to find theme related sites of potential partners who also use LinkAssistant? For example, I want to partner with those who have office related sites who also have LA... _________________ Stars 'n Toads Office Comic Strip

You can find related sites in a variety of ways. Just take a look at Tools > Find new link partners options.
Additionally, when doing a keyword search to find link partners, you can use all the standard Google commands, like allintitle: or allinanchor: -- which is a great way to refine your search and improve the accuracy of the results. You can also append a plus or minus to a keyword to include or exclude it from the search results.
So there's plenty of ways to find potential link partners.
But because you can't really tell LinkAssistant's work from a human's, because LinkAssistant leaves no traces, it's virtually impossible (and really unnecessary) to find LinkAssistant-related sites.
Think about it. Even if you could find other people who use LinkAssistant... how would it benefit your site? 95% of them would be from a different niche, and you don't need links from unrelated sites.
BTW, you can also search for AutoComplete link partners who use link submission forms. That's another way to find related Websites who are happy to swap links. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software
