I have a traditional links page in a hierarchy. I also want to create one page which contains links to TOP 100 links. Presently I manually handle these outside of linkassistant.
Link assistant allows multiple templates. So I thought I could create a template with one page. I want though to be able to select the category, or the status which makes up this page. I would create a category TOP100, and generate the links for this page, ignoring all the other categories.
The traditional links page would have code to ignore the TOP100 category.
Of course I could generate the hierachy with all the pages, and link the top100 differently (I actually hand code in the template the high level index because of some extra pages I link to in the links section) But unfortuantly the top 100 is a different format.
In addition I would like to test a category which would fit in the tradional links heirarchy, and generate a different format page. At present I do this for banner links and text links by check whether the banner field contains text. But I do need a little bit more flexibility. _________________ Steve B

Steve, could you give a link to your TOP 100 pages you currently have? 'Cause, frankly speaking, I'm not sure that I understand the question ' _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

Thinking this through again. Top 100 is irelevant.
I want to be able to create a page for a certain set of partners in a differnt format to the other pages. This must be from the same project.
I could do this with conditional logic in the template, and with multiple tempaltes. But I must have something to test. I think this could be solved by allowing lieteral tests on the status field, or the category field, allowing for generation of different HTML for a category. Or allowing the inclusion or exclusion of genetaion of html by a category if using multiple templates. _________________ Steve B
