 Slow on editing reciprocal link partner page

I'm finding it very slow editing reciprocal link partner page, sometimes takes 2-3 minutes and sometimes it freezes and show a java error. Not sure what's going on. Could you please assist. Thanks  Also another problem is when you want to view someone's site and you get page cannot be displayed. What's with that?

I have found editing a partner page generally fast, other than when I add a new category. Adding a new category from the partner page or from the main menu seems to take serveral minutes.
The internal browser does not handle a number of pages. Clicking on an email link, or going to a flash site seems to show page not found message.

What version of LinkAssistant do you use? (I mean Windows, Mac OS or Linux version?)

Program freezing

I am using Windows XP SP2 and when editing the categories and reciprocal links my computer freezes.When I bring up the Task Manager it shows javaw.exe taking up to 98 of the CPU. I have the lastest Java installed on my computer. Please help. Thaks

Mike,
I found my machine almost freezes on the specific task of adding a new category. Add the category and press OK. It then goes in CPU at 100% for 3 minutes, and then all is OK. It does not matter where the category is added, from the main menu, or from adding a category when editing a link partner. In which case it goes into 100 percent CPU when OK is pressed on the link partner.
This I can live with, because I know it is going to happen every time I add a category. I have some 11,000 link partners in the database.
What don't find so useful is the unexpected freezes when I use the browser, or the occaisional null pointer when something is not quite right.
I regularily save my project, escpecilly after doing things which are not recreatable, like receiving emails.

Adding a new category whether from the main menu, or from editing a partner has improved. For my machine/project it was taking 3 minutes before 2.2. This has been improved with 2.2 and now takes 30 seconds.

Damn! It's terribly slow anyway
This should take about 1-2 seconds... We'll be trying to impove this further
