Merchant accounts are all well and good but it can be unnecessarily expensive when people are just getting started.
There's a number of services that make life much simpler ...
- 2Checkout
- CCNow
- PayPal
and many more.
What's far more important though in my opinion is whether non-Americans can get hold of a US bank account to send their money to.
I spent about 2 months researching this and finally found a number of free & paid solutions.
