Import Links from external source Wed May 21, 2008 4:02 pm
parapet
We have a list of directories to which we normally submit our clients in an initial linkbuilding compaign. Is there a way to import these into Link Assistant for tracking without having to add them individually?

With about 2000 directories in this list, individually adding them would be a long and tedious process. If they can be imported as a group, what format would they need to be in for this import? They're currently in a plain text file, but this could be imported into a CSV easily. How would it be done? If this is not yet possible, adding this feature to your product would seem to be a good idea.

Admittedly I have not used Link Assistant too extensively yet, but I could not find anything about this in the forum on a simple search, nor did I see it in the help anywhere. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Pat

Hi Pat,
please go to Tools -> Find New Link Partners -> Import link partners from a plain-text list
You can copy all URLs into the field you see.
