Google stopped giving out the type of APIs that Link Assistant calls for, and I am running into trouble querying Google, so I wish I could get around this. I used to have a Google API, but I lost it! My questions:
1. Is anyone else having problems querying Google to find partners or get PR? How might I fix this?
2. Is there any way to get a Google SOAP API still?

Well, loudogg, as Google said, they are no longer issuing new API keys for the SOAP Search API. Unfortunately, the new AJAX Search API only appears to be suitable for displaying search results in your own web page (though we're doing our best to make it compatible to our products) -- so, I'd suggest you to remove Google API key, and use LinkAssistant as is -- without Google API Key at all.

Hm-m-m... You may try to ask people here or on other SEO forums. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

I've tried using the Keyword search and as I see here Google no longer is issuing the relevant API and have tried without entering anything and get zero results - is there something else I don't know about or have not set right?

I just downloaded again - I was on straight 2.4 and installed what turned out to be 2.4.3 and now it's working fine!

I'm having this same problem.
I have never used a google api key (but had been looking for one) and even without it I always used to get results acros the search engines for the 250 or so keywords.
Since 2 days ago, google has been coming back blank.
(I have the latest version on link assistant)
Is there anything I can do about this? Has google banned my ip or something?
Does yahoo or msn have a api key for safe searching? I don't want my results to go down even more, plus I really want to get google's back?
Thanks for any help.
Matt
