Sorry if this seems to obvious, but my links files looks like this:

links.html
links-category1.html
links-category2.html
etc.....

There is no index.html

Thus, for the directory, I rename links.html to index.html

Is there a way to create an index.html file during page generation?

Actually, LA creates page names based on the names of the categories you've got in your project.

So, you might want to rename the main category from "Links" into "Index" (use the "Preferences -> Edlit link partner categories..." menu item to do that) -- then you'll get pages named like:

index.html
index-category1.html
index-category2.html
etc.....


Not sure if this is exactly what you need, Confused
