This may sound counter to linking strategy but we host a non-profit site www.loyalistsatshelburne.com and would like to provide local businesses with a chance to be listed with a link on the site - check [url]http://www.loyalistsatshelburne.com/links-accomodation.php [/url] where we have accomodation - we only have a few links there but we'd like to put all the B&Bs, Motels etc many who do not have websiters on that page as a resource for visitors.
We can accomplish this either by having LinkAssistant not demand a URL when entering the partner details or we could place a URL within the L/A code to a page that we will manage outside of LinkAssistant.
Either way is there a code snippet or whatever that can be provided to do either - most probably the latter?

We'll, I'm afraid I don't quite get the question 
You want to build a directory of OFFLINE business (i.e. those who don't have websites), right? Thus you've got nothing to enter into the "Partner Domain" field when adding new link partner... And you want this to be a non-required field... Hm... If I got it right, then I must admit that that's hardly possible, because in 99,9% all people do need this field to be a required one.
BUT you've got a great option to enter ANY possible URL (as this is a required field), but then you can simply HIDE this URL in the resulting link pages -- just change this line:

As for the second option, I don't see any problems here -- just create these pages, put them online (say, they'll be http://www.loyalistsatshelburne.com/directory/page-1.html, http://www.loyalistsatshelburne.com/directory/page-2.html, http://www.loyalistsatshelburne.com/directory/page-3.html, etc. ), and then enter these URLs (http://www.loyalistsatshelburne.com/directory/page-1.html, etc) into the "Partner URL" field of your new partner. As far as I understand, this should work for you...
