I can still get duplications of web sites in my project. Loading sites from a web pages is OK. But if a manually add a new site, there is no warning and I can end up with a duplicate.

Yes, Steve, this is how it works... It is supposed that when you add a new partner manually - you know WHAT exactly you're going to do...
Steve, and what is your suggestion? Should we simply add a "Kill Duplicates" button, or we shouldn't allow add new duplicates at all, or we should show a simple warning, or what else?
Please help us to figure out the most handy solution - we'll try to add this functionality then...

The software should'nt assume I know what I am doing. Normally I don't.
A warning message would be just fine.

LA could have a 'duplicate check' button next to the URL box perhaps
This would be very helpful
However, one question would be 'what is a duplicate?'
What I mean is that what if you have the following:
www.fred.com
and you then tried to enter this:
www.fred.com/special-page-on-fred.html
Would this be considered a duplicate because www.fred.com already exists in the db?
Likely not cuz perhaps there might be some special reasons for linking to multiple specific pages of a site.

Thanks so much. Yes, checking for duplicates is critical cuz you don't the remote sites to get whizzed with duplicate requests.

In fact, it would be GREAT if LA could check for duplicates automatically when adding sites.
This would help ensure more of a volume capability.
Will any kind of duplicate checking be available in LA 3.0 ?
