Hi I could has pissed of Google, or not. I just purchase LINK ASSISTANTS 3 software package for my girlfriend on valentines day.
For my nich market #1key word im normally around 6-8th place (for the last 6 months)
After running rank tracker for the 1st time i noticed i was in 3rd place for that #1 KW. It couldn't have been like that for more than a week or two because i watch it.
However, that same day after running my keywords on my site & a couple competitors (using RK w/ out any emulation), I noticed a had dropped back down to 7th place. The following day I was up to 4th place. It may not be related to using Rank tracker.
Personally i don't want to have to run an emulation every time if not ness. Gee I didn't know it was illegal to track rankings.
So my real Q:
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY "HIDE PROXY'S" (that are free or purchasable) THAT WORK WITH THESE SOFTWARES?

Hi Ace.
Your problem has no connection with Rank Tracker. It's a desctop app, so it has nothing to do with your server -> it can't spoil your rankings. If it were'n so, we could just run RT to check out competitors' sites, just to let Google drop them down
So please don't worry about your software.
As for your question about proxys, I wouldn't recommend using them, but if you think you need any, please check this link:

Here you'll find a good list.
PS Hope your rankings go up soon! _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

But help me with this theory.
Last yr we spent $40,000 on ad words within our niche market. This year we plan grow into other areas, within the same niche market and dump an estimated $80,000+ into adwords. Running the following apps from our single office: adwords, google apps, & link assistant software's
Although it has nothing to do with our server/host were our website is, each time we run link assistant applications does it not reveal our ip address etc to Google? In which they already have our ip address from Google analytics & adwords?
So i think it would make sense to use a proxy, however i plan to hunt down & purch an old google API.
Is this accurate?

Ace, your theory's good, but there aren't any examples that would prove it.
And, even this were true, in most countries this would mean that Google is going illegal, comparing data from two different sources (AdWords and software checks) and using it for any kind of restrictions. I don't think Google would do this, and, there're thousands of people SEOing their sites, running software-powered checks, and running AdWords as well, and I've never heard of any penalties like this one. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

Hi BILZ,
I have no idea what a fair market price for one is and haven't done any research to find out..
When i did browse some forums, I saw one post for someone who was trying to pick one up for 50$. And another guy looking to sell one for 500.00
can i contact you here?

Hi Ace,
when you're purchasing an API key, just bear two things in mind:
1) One Google API only allows 1000 queries per day
2) Our software was designed so that users do not actually need APIs to make safe queries, as we've got flexible human emulation feature keeping you on the safe side. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

Why buy a Google API, what makes you think you will be the only one using it? I could sell my API to 10 different people, make a good 5k, and then Google blocks that API due to abuse.
I think you are safer with a proxy. I use a software called Steganos , and it works great, for 100 bucks you get 25GB of bandwidth per month, and your whole pc connection is hidden. Don't use it to run Outlook to SPAM though, they have blocked that option. However, you can navigate any site without being tracked, and you can safely add sites from which you don't want to hide, for example, banks, or paypal, etc.
And, I don't think your ranking has anything to do with you seeing your page going down in SERP, as Link Assistant said, if you were my competition, I would run Rank Tracker all day using your domain, and GYM (Google, Yahoo, Msn) would ban your domain? I don't think it works that way, for me your case is jjust bad luck, or bad techniques or just a simple hold back...so keep linking from/to good sites, and you will should be fine. _________________ Passwords Manager: Roboform!
