Where do I get Java?

The SEO PowerSuite tools are built using cutting-edge Java technology. They require a current 32-bit version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to function correctly.

Windows

Please click this link if you don't have JRE (or if you are not sure how fresh your version is). The system will instantly verify the version you have and – if necessary – will offer you a free download link.

If you are into it, enable automatic updates for your system too. This is done through the Java Control Panel.

• Windows XP: Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Java -> Update
• Windows 7/Vista: Start menu -> Control Panel -> Programs -> Java -> Update

Mac

To update Java on your Mac, please open the Apple menu and choose the "Software Update" option from it. 

To schedule automatic updates, please follow instructions provided by Apple support.

Linux/UNIX

Please download a self-extracting archive from Sun’s official site (suits most Linux distributives) or use an RPM installer.
