LinkAssistant's Main Window

LinkAssistant's main window should be pretty straightforward. It includes a familiar Menu Bar at the very top, which lets you do most of the things by invoking menu commands. Note the Help menu to the right.

Right below is the Project Management Toolbar, which, as the name suggests, lets you manage the project at hand. For convenience, it only includes the basic buttons such as New Project, Open Project, Save Project and Close Project. We'll get down to creating a new project in a minute.

Below the Project Management Toolbar lies the working area that we call the Module Management Bar. This bar includes tabs that control LinkAssistant's several important modules, such as Partners, Mail, Browser and Links Page. The capabilities of each of the module tabs are explained further in more detail.

Now please read carefully... A list of link partners is probably the most important thing you need. You can manage this list easily by adding or removing link parters, or editing their properties if you need.

Please note that you are able to customize this list however you like by making visible only those partners' properties which best satisfy your needs. Besides, you may filter link partners out by any criteria. The Customize View button helps you to alter the list's look up to your wish.

Also, notice the little tabs at the very bottom of the program's main window. These correspond to the number of currently opened projects, and let you conveniently switch projects at any time. Note that the above mentioned buttons and menu commands are applied to the current project. So don't forget to switch projects if you need before changing anything.
