Do I need search safety settings?

You can do without them but it would be nice to enable some just in case. The work of BuzzBundle involves sending chain queries to search engines and social media sites. Some of these web resources may not be enthusiastic about intense activity on their servers and may be taking measures to discourage it (show captchas or stop responding for a while).

Want as many results as possible from each web service? Make BuzzBundle's queries less conspicuous. You could try either of these solutions for this purpose:

  • Let BuzzBundle search like a human (human emulation set),
  • Let BuzzBundle imitate multiple users working from different computers (proxy rotation set).

Human emulation set (basic)

This set of search safety settings is more than enough for most BuzzBundle projects.

Menu to open Features to activate
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings        Enable data center rotation
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings-> Human Emulation Enable visiting home pages + pauses between queries (2-6 seconds)
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings -> Proxy Rotation Disable proxy usage
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings-> Captcha Settings Enable captcha display or an anti-captcha key

Proxy rotation set (advanced)

If the basic set of features turns out insufficient, you might want to try proxies. You'll need them if you've got a project with plenty of keywords (sites) or if you manage lots of projects.

Menu to open
Features to activate
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings        Disable data center rotation (doesn't work well with proxy rotation)
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings-> Human Emulation Disable all
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings -> Proxy Rotation Enable proxy rotation. Click Search to build a list of free proxies.
Preferences -> Search Safety Settings-> Captcha Settings Up to you

The number of proxies you need varies depending on the amount of data you've got to update. You could start with some 20-50 proxies and extend the list depending on how it goes. It doesn't really matter which countries your proxies are from as long as they are alive and display a decent response time. You can update their statuses by clicking Check.
