How do I install SEO PowerSuite?

SEO PowerSuite installation is highly intuitive and doesn't require any special computer knowledge. The steps are similar across operating systems.

Windows

  1. Download SEO PowerSuite installation file for Windows.
  2. Run the seopowersuite-jre.exe file and follow the wizard.

Some Windows 10 users may see a Defender SmartScreen notification: no worries, that's a common notification that shows up for all publishers Windows's not familiar with. Click More info > Run anyway to proceed with the installation.

If you're installing a standalone app (RankTracker, for instance), you'll be offered to install the other apps from the suite along (that's optional).

Once the installation is complete you'll find 4 new icons on your desktop:

  • Rank Tracker,
  • WebSite Auditor,
  • SEO SpyGlass,
  • LinkAssistant.

Double-click the icons to start the applications.

Mac OS X

  1. Download SEO PowerSuite dmg file for Mac.
  2. Double-click the DMG file to open it.
  3. Double-click SEO PowerSuite icon to launch the installer, and follow the wizard.

If you're installing a standalone app (RankTracker, for instance), you'll be offered to install the other apps from the suite along (that's optional).

Once the installation is complete, please launch the Finder and go to /Applications/Link-AssistantCom/. Double-click on the name of the tool you would like to start. 

Linux/UNIX

  1. Download SEO PowerSuite for Linux.
  2. Unpack the archive (run the tar -xzvf seopowersuite.tar.gz command in a terminal emulator such as xterm).
  3. Open the directory the archive was unpacked to. Run the installer: ./install.sh (as a super-user).
  4. Follow the set-up wizard to complete the installation.

To launch any of the SEO PowerSuite tools, please run an appropriate command in the terminal emulator:

  • ranktracker
  • seospyglass
  • websiteauditor
  • linkassistant
