How do I install SEO PowerSuite?

SEO PowerSuite installation is highly intuitive and doesn't require any special computer knowlegde. The steps are similar for all operation systems. 


  1. Download SEO PowerSuite for Windows.
  2. Open the archive (seopowersuite.zip) and find an installation file inside (seopowersuite.exe)
  3. Launch seopowersuite.exe and follow the wizard.

Some Windows 10 users can get a Defender SmartScreen notification:

But do not worry: that notification appears for all publishers that are not familiar to Windows. Just click the More Info link and you will be able to proceed with the installation.

Once the installation is complete you'll find 4 new icons on your desktop:

  • Rank Tracker,
  • WebSite Auditor,
  • SEO SpyGlass,
  • LinkAssistant.

Please double-click on these icons to start the applications.

Mac OS X

  1. Download SEO PowerSuite for Mac.
  2. Double-click on the archive to unpack it. Find the SEO PowerSuite Installer inside. 
  3. Double-click on the Installer and follow the wizard.

When the installation is complete, please launch the Finder and go to /Applications/SEO PowerSuite/. Double-click on the name of the tool you would like to start.

  1. Download SEO PowerSuite for Linux.
  2. Unpack the archive (run the tar -xzvf seopowersuite.tar.gz command in a terminal emulator such as xterm).
  3. Open the directory the archive was unpacked to. Run the installer: ./install.sh (as a super-user).
  4. Follow the set-up wizard to complete the installation.

To launch any of the SEO PowerSuite tools, please run an appropriate command in the terminal emulator:

  • ranktracker
  • seospyglass
  • websiteauditor
  • linkassistant
