BuzzBundle Tutorial - online help guide for the best social media tool
Creating a project and collecting data
Creating a project is the starting point of working with BuzzBundle.
The initial steps are:
- choosing social media sites
- connecting your social media accounts
- specifying brand (or non-brand) keywords
- entering URLs of promoted sites
When the above is done, the software starts scanning the Web and picking up all mentions of your keywords and sites in the chosen media and social profiles.
Viewing discussions in social sites
BuzzBundle finds discussions mentioning your keywords and puts them into streams.
The information in streams is grouped according to the sources it comes from. There are the default streams for:
- forums and blogs
- social networks
- Q&A
- video-sharing sites
Also, the software picks up data from social profiles. When you connect your own social profile, you can see its content in streams. For example, you can see your Facebook news feed and wall side by side here in BuzzBundle.
So, basically, every stream is a collection of posts from a certain type of sites or social profiles. These posts either mention your keywords or have been taken from your social profiles (your Facebook timeline and news feed, for instance).
All streams are fully-customizable: you can change the set of the default social media, apply various filtering conditions, sort dialogues by different criteria and hide comments.
Also, the software lets you add new streams and remove the unneeded ones.
Managing Keyword Groups
In the Keyword Groups tab one can manage keywords for each campaign. BuzzBundle lets you edit the exiting keyword groups, activate/deactivate them or add new groups of keywords to track their mentions.
Also, the tab shows how many times keywords from a particular group have been mentioned. The References graph displays the total # of keyword mentions in all the chosen social media at a particular time.
Managing Personas and Profiles
First, to understand what Persona is, we take one example.
Say, you are regularly posting on 3 sites: Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You can post from your personal account for your friends and personal contacts. But you can also post as your company's PR manager, as your CEO or support rep, depending on what your job requires from you. So you may have to post as 3 different personas: yourself, PR manager, CEO and support rep. Each persona may have only 1 profile on each social site: Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
So basically, Persona is a person with 1 social account of each kind. This is the public image you're posting under. And you can switch between personas easily, and quickly post discussions, comments, or, say retweet and like what others say – as the person who should do that.
Under Personas & Profiles you can manage Personas (add new, edit or delete existing ones) and social profiles registered under them.
Running Social Media Activities
BuzzBunlde lets you perform most of the actions you regularly do on various social media sites inside the app. With the software one can:
- comment
- take part in discussions
- make posts
- write posts
- share posts
- retweet
- send messages
- schedule anything: comments, tweets, retweets etc
- submit videos
IMPORTANT! Note, practically all social media sites require registration. Thus, to perform all the above mentioned actions, you need to either specify your existing accounts or (in case you are an unregistered user) create new ones. That can be done right from BuzzBundle (see the 'Personas and Profiles' section for more info).
Managing Private Correspondence
The Private Messages tab lets manage private correspondence coming from your social media accounts. With the software you can connect to your social accounts in order to receive new correspondence and send direct or private messages.
Social Media Planner
The software lets you keep track of all your social media efforts. Your recent social activities are put together and conveniently arranged by date in My Activities workspace. In this workspace you can see all your recently fulfilled and scheduled social media activities. Notes can be assigned to each activity on the list.
Also, you can use this workspace to make new posts/upload new videos.
Scheduler
BuzzBundle runs certain tasks on auto-pilot. The tool lets you schedule posts, comments, messages, tweets/retweets and replies.
Also, the software can automatically update a project and pick up new private messages from your social accounts.
