I don't know if theres a solution for this, but prior to purchasing Seo Spyglass (one of my favorite tools)
Upon running spyglass on a site, I used to copy past my results into a excel spread sheet, & then run a macro to formate it etc.. (since i couldn't use the save feature.)
Since then Ive purchased the software, however I now have like 70 excel sheets containing all my seo spy content per site.
Q. Now that I have purchased the software, is there a way to import by way of comma delimited or some way into Seo Spyglass, instead of having to re-run all 70 sites?
If there is currently no import option, is this something that may be added in the future?
TY

ok, thanks. Keep up the sweat work!
ps. one more question to piggyback.
Can SEO Spyglass track or retain each of your spy sessions for say www.bluewidgets.com So you can review or track link history etc or other purposes?
also - are you planning on including the age of back link any time. (prob been asked before)
thanks again, my fav software.

We weren't actually planning to add a feature of the kind, as it's not clear what it might be needed for. If you can explain what help this "history" could be, we'll probably think of this once again.

Unfortunately right now it's not possible to extract backlink age. If you know and can suggest a way to do this we might try to add this data to our software.
Thanks for your suggestions anyway! _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

It wouldn't tell you the age of the link, but it could help, and that would be the page last updated date. I know it will always be today for database sites, but older links might not be that way.

traceygirl, thank you for your input. Unfortunately we are not sure that this makes sence: for instance, if someone had a link on a page for a year, and it was updated a week ago - there is no way to find out how long the backlink stands there. Besides, you're absolutely right about database-driven sites: they will always return incorrect results.
According to our estimates, results will be incorrect in 80 to 90% of cases all in all. So it seems that showing the last update date may do more harm than good...
Thank you for your suggestion though. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

Shame the wayback machine stopped doing what it did properly. That would have been a good point. It would have been possible to pull the links, and the date. if there was data on wayback then you could return a date, if not, then return 'non varifiable' The problem wight be though that many would ne non verifiable and it would appear to the untrained eye, that instead of the software giving the bonus of some dates, it would appear they were failing to deliver on the bulk.
It is a fine line isn't it
OOPS, sorry, I meant to say that the original thinking was that if the page last updated returned was 2006, and the link is on there, then it would be safe to say that you would have a valuable piece of information. In my experience it is these long term high value in context links that carry a lot of juice.
