Hi,
I wonder if I don't get it or if the email function is not quite there yet??
How do I get the link information from a email (inside LA) into the "Partners" Database??
When I open an email I can't switch over to "Partners". (I think this would be the easiest way if it is possible to open a mail and then switch to "Partners" and copy/paste
Or is there any other way to get the info over to "Partners"???
Thanks
R

You don't need to open your email with a double-click. If you just select it, you can easily copy information and switch between tabs to paste it. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

thanks, I do understand that - but we can do this 3-5 times till we have all info copied. If the email would stay open we only have to change the Tab once - copy all data and then go back to mail.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you about this option:
in the Email tab, you can use Add and Edit buttons - they were made to help you fill in partner info. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

actually, not too stupid.
I did more testing and a website which submitted through a normal mailscript is displayed in plain text - which makes the "ADD" button not available.
Any solutions??

Firstly, what do you mean by saying "normal mailscript"... What is this? Can you show me an example of a page with such a script?
Secondly, plain text emails don't make the Add button unavailable...
My guess is that a website's URL in this email doesn't start with http:// (i.e. you use www.somesite.com anstead of http://www.somesite.com)... Am I right? If so, then you can just add a http:// part in you script, and LinkAssistant will be working correctly with such emails and website URLs in them.
If I'm wrong, then please contact our Support Team, and send them your project as well -- I think this will the best choice if we want to fix the problem ASAP. _________________ Search Engine Optimization Software

Hi,
we tried with http:// and without. I just get the mail as plain text, while in Apple mail the html shows up.
The "add" is not available as long as there is not URL detected by your software.
I will contact support tomorrow.
Thanks
