If sending more than perhaps 70 emails theres a very high chance that the email progress bar will show 3-5 successfully sent emails and then it pauses. The timer increases but no emails continue to be sent.

Clicking 'stop' or the close button does not do anything. The only thing I can do is to press Apple-Command-Escape to manually force-quit the program. The first time this happened I lost a few hours of work!.

We've never hear of such a problem before. Look like there's a problem with your mail server.
Please contact our support service:
http://www.link-assistant.com/support/
and try to give as much info as possible (mail settings, which letters you were sending etc.).
If you could send you project file (it has the .xch extension), zipped, to our support team.
