We designed SEO PowerSuite tools in a way that would let you work with keywords, websites and web pages in any language. Until now, however, the software interface was in English only. Today we're happy to announce the launch of localized versions of SEO PowerSuite.

Update: The long-awaited French version of SEO PowerSuite has arrived. Read on to learn how to get the new language option in your SEO tools.

Together with the English version, SEO PowerSuite is now also available in German, Russian and French (Rank Tracker is also available in Japanese) with more local versions to come.

You can now set the software interface to any of these languages. And of course you can overwhelm your German, Russian and French speaking clients with stunning SEO reports in their native tongue.

Here's how you get your SEO software to speak your language.

If you already have the English version of SEO PowerSuite installed

  1. Update the tools to the latest version. You should get a notification about a new release available. Choose to update to the latest version. In case you for some reason don't get a notification, simply restart the tools and they will update automatically.
  2. Note: If you're using an old version of SEO PowerSuite you may not get the automatic update. To update manually download the software and install it.

  3. Go to 'Preferences' -> 'Language Settings'
  4. Choose the language you need and click OK. The software's interface will switch to the language you've selected.

If you don't have SEO PowerSuite yet

Download the fresh version of SEO PowerSuite and install the software. You'll be able to choose the interface language early during the installation.

Important note: The languages of the software interface and reports are configured separately. That means you can use the software in one language and generate reports in different languages.

Setting Report Languages

By default the report templates are generated in the language you selected when installing the software. To create reports in a different language do the following:

  1. Go to 'Preferences' -> 'Language Settings' and set the software interface language to the one you want to use in the reports.
  2. Go to 'Preferences' -> 'Report Templates' and click 'Add' to create a new report template
  3. Configure your report template by going through the wizard steps and save the new report template

You can also see detailed instructions with screenshots

The report template will be generated in the language that's currently selected in 'Preferences' -> 'Language Settings' . You can then switch to a different language of the software interface, but the language of the report template you've just created will remain the same.

This way you can have your software interface set to English and generate reports in German, Russian, French or any other language with no fuss.

Upcoming SEO PowerSuite Languages

We're currently working to bring you SEO PowerSuite in more languages: Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish being our top priorities. If you happen to be a native speaker of any of these languages and want to give us a helping hand with the translation, please, check this webpage for instructions, available rewards for the contributors and other info.

Though we are focused on translating the software interface into the languages mentioned above, we intend to embrace a wider range of languages with report templates. If you want to help us get the reports into the languages that matter to you, click here to learn how you can contribute to the translation.

P.S.  Special thanks to Mikael Buxton, Pierre-Yves Robert, Steve Michelet, Dominique Duplan and everyone else who took part in this translation.
